That was a part where they used the backing track actually. IIRC at this point in time Oli's voice was getting a bit f'd up for bad technique, and to be fair, a song like that is pretty tough to sing in middle of a set anyways.
A lot of artists use backing tracks for either the instrumental or certain parts of their vocals they could have issues reaching. You can tell most of the song is actually live, and maybe he was having a hard time with his voice that day. He knew he couldn't hit those notes. And he would rather have the whole song sound good, even with a backing track for a bit, then to have a part that sounds like shit.

Pretty difficult song to sing, especially in the middle of a long set. They definitely used backing track to help out with the chorus and you can see it on the DVD.
@a_ bnana Not every year, just a one off event following the release of their 2015 album That's The Spirit :) Up until this point it had only been available through purchase as the money raised went to Teenage Cancer Trust. Guess they decided everyone could do with it after a difficult year! It'd be incredible to hear them do it again, they sound amazing with an orchestra and some songs off of Amo and Go To would sound awesome
This is a live event that the band does every year for the Teenage Cancer Trust. You can catch the songs that you may have not heard of in older albums- im kinda new to BMTH too.

@Hugo Oosting yeh but do you remember when he would perform empire live when it had just came out? His lives now barely consist of screaming and if he does scream its for like one phrase or two then stops, i love bmth since 2014 or so and you can tell they tried to go way smoother on the amo album cause his voice wasn’t the at its peak back then, i just obviously see a big difference from when he was younger especially when he had just made chelsea smiles 😂
@Steven Surch true, gets worse every time you do it though, so id say its pretty unlikely hes had another in the past 2 years, you know after hearing him on dear diary and kingslayer.
